How will 2011 affect your life and your planet?
As 2010 comes to a close, we reflect on the energy of the "three" (2+0+1+0) year -- a creative year of communication and self expression. For some of us, it was a year of great creative achievements. For others, it was about the challenges of expressing ourselves. I ponder over this "three" year for myself and others as I witnessed much upheaval, transition, creative beginnings and in some ways, dealing with loss and delving deep into the shadow. Asking myself, what is next?
It seems to have been this way for many of us emotionally, politically, economically, spiritually and environmentally. But the good news is numerologically, 2011 is a year of the builder and grounder... a year to get things done - the "four". (2+0+11 = 4)

Make a list of intentions of what you would like to inspire and build in 2011. Four is a good instructional organized energy to step out of your "thoughtful dreams" and into transforming them into action. This intention list might include several areas of your life: Relationships/career/creativity/serving the planet/healing/life path.

Find one word for each of your intentions..place the list on your mirror or altar, or create a creative image (painting, sculpture, poem, etc) that represents all of what you want to build.

On December 31, 2010 midnight or the next day January 1, 2011 - you could gather with like minded people, chant, share prayers and connect with the grounding and inspiring spirit of 2011.

Contribute to healing the planet. There are many organizations that help others build a better life here is just a few.
- Kiva is a donating organization that helps out needy people to receive loans and pay them back. www.kiva.org
- House of the Children (www.houseofthechildren.org) This supports clean water & health in Peru's Amazon Rain Forest.
